On Monday morning, Grammy, Papa, & Heather got up super early to leave Florida. We werent' too far behind them. When we got to the airport though the flights weren't looking too good. Tyson had to be back at work on Tuesday morning so I sent him & Jed on while Caroline & I stayed waiting for the next flight! We literally waited all day. I had made plans in my head to get a hotel room. Thankfully, at the very last minute, we got on the last flight out & we made it home!
Unfortuately, when we got home I realized I lost my camera:( Yes, with my weeks worth of pictures on there! I was so sad:( It was still a great trip & like one friend said "that just means you'll have to go back!:)"

~Disney Day 6~
Our last day here! We've had a great time! Today we went back to Hollywood Studios to get Jed's souveniors! He saw something the first day and never found anything else he wanted so we went back for it! LOL
We told the kids to pick what they wanted to do and we went back to Epcot also to ride a few rides again~see I told you the kids loved it!
Thanks to our Grammy & Papa for giving us the WORLD! We enjoyed every minute of it & we are already planning our next trip (in our heads anyways!) We learned a few tricks while we were there, so hopefully next time will be a little smoother!:)

~Disney Day 5~
On this day we went back to Epcot and spent the day there. We did ALOT which meant ALOT of walking! We went back to the countries and walked around all of them! They had these masks that the kids could get tags added on to them at each country, which was cool b/c we wouldn't have went back there otherwise. We saw several characters that we wouldn't have seen anywhere else!
We rode the Test Track ride, then we rode some of our favorites from yesterday.

Our dinner was at O'hana. It was sooo yummy! There were no characters but the atomsphere was excellent! It was all you can eat shrimp, chicken, & pork. This was our Favorite!!

~Disney Day 4~

We went to Epcot on this day! We did a few things towards the front of the park, until it was time for us to go back to the Magic Kingdom for dinner. Really, I have to say Epcot was probably the kids favorite place to go. Heather loved the SpaceShip Earth ride. I lost count as to how many times she/we rode it! LOL

We did MissionSpace but it made us all sick except for Jed. He loved it. He managed to talk Papa into riding it with him again!

We also got to do Soarin'. It was pretty cool! I love that Disney pulls out all the stops to make everything so life like.

We had early reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table back at the Magic Kingdom. One of the reason's I picked this dinner is because it was in the Castle at the Magic Kingdom & I thought that would be totally cool! LOL It was one of the better dinners. They gave the girls princess wands & Jed a sword. We got to meet all of the princesses while we were there.

After we ate there we went to the other side of the Magic Kingdom to do ToonTown, Fantasyland & Tomorrowland. It was much better in the evening. It wasn't as hot and the crowds were a little easier to contend with. We spent the whole rest of the evening there until they closed & we watched the fireworks.
~Disney Day 3~
Day 3 we went to Animal Kingdom because we had breakfast reservations at The Tusker House with Mickey, Donald, Daisy & Goofy! (and I have an actual real picture of us there!) This was another ok meal~After we finished breakfast, we walked around a little bit then we ventured off to find some rides!

We did the Kilimanjaro Safari, then we went over to the Everest Roller Coaster! It was fun but it made us all kind of sick! LOL

After we rode that we left to go to the water parks b/c we thought we had them included in our tickets, but we got all the way over there and we didn't :( We were bummed, but we went back to the hotel and swam.
~Disney Day 2~
So I've been trying to remember where we went next & I believe it was Magic Kingdom! Our shirts are this design

If you go to www.disboards.com, then to Creative DISigns, there are lots of people there who have designs you can use or they will custom make them for you if you ask!! Thanks Ohana90 for doing this one for us!!!
We had planned 2 days for Magic Kingdom so we did Adventureland & FrontierLand. When we got there it was about lunch time, so we popped into Casey's Corner on Main Street Disney & had baseball style hotdogs! They were yummy & I thought about them all week long!!! LOL

We rode Splash Mountain!

and Big Thunder MOuntain Runaway Railroad. Caroline loved this ride. We rode it a couple of times!

We also took a trip with the Pirates of the Caribbean. We didn't get much done on this day b/c the lines were so long and we had dinner reservations at a different resort.

Our dinner was at 1900 Park Fare. We rode the boat over from Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian Resort! It was a dinner buffet and we weren't all that impressed with the food really, but we had dinner with Cinderella, her StepSisters, The evil stepmother, & Prince Charming of course! I do have a funny story to tell about this one~I've always heard about people who just loved everything disney! During our dinner they danced and they let the little girls dance with the characters~There were grown women enthralled with Cindy!LOL I just kept thinking seriously????s

~DisneyWorld-Day 1~
We (well, me & my mom mostly) were so excited to go to DisneyWorld this summer! The kids have never been to an amusement park so I don't think they really knew what to expect & Tyson, well, he doesn't do hot & crowded!LOL
We were set for an early flight out of Houston, so we drove down to the night before & stayed in a hotel close to the airport. We got up early the next day (like 4 am) to head to the airport! We got on our flight & were in Orlando in no time~Thank you Southwest Airlines!:)

We rode the Magical Express over to WDW & checked into the Pop Century hotel. We stayed in the 1950's near Lady from Lady & the Tramp!

After we got rid of all of our stuff & got our park tickets, we headed to Hollywood Studios.

I enjoyed this park the best! It wasn't as crowded as the others & it had the best rides! We rode the Tower of Terror several times, The Rock N' Roll Roller Coaster (it was Heather's first time on a BIG roller coaster!), & several other fun rides. We missed out on the Toy Story Mania because by the time we got there all the Fast Passes were gone & the wait in line was like 3 hours!

We ate an early dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe! The food was good & the atomsphere was fun! They served these yucky plasticy green beans & I didn't eat mine, so of course I got in trouble! I had to carry my plate to the back and the whole place shamed me while I was doing it! I didn't care though they were NASTY!!LOL
Next up, Day 2~
(I borrowed the pics from google images, ya know since I can't keep up with a camera!)

~Thrill of the Hunt~AKA Good Deals @ WalGreens
I enjoy couponing & finding good deals, but when I'm working I rarely have the time to do it much, so I do most of it in the summer, BUT this summer we've been busy so I haven't done it much now either! I'm trying to get back in the swing of doing it & try to do it more during the school year!
Yesterday morning I searched the Sunday ads (online) to find who had the best school supply deals. I found the most deals at Walgreens. I sat down and made a list with each item I needed and how much it was supposed to be. It's a good thing I did~their school supply aisle was a mess of sale signs and of course some things you needed a coupon. It was a total pain, BUt I got some GREAT deals!
The one worth talking about was this~This week WalGreens has Buy 1 Get 1 free on Hanes underwear, socks & t-shirts! I swore I was throwing all my kids underwear out and buying new~I got Jed 2 packs of boxer briefs(each pkg only had 3 pairs~I don't understand that~boys need less underwear than girls?). They didn't ring up on sale but the manager told the cashier to give them to me. They were on display with the rest of the Hanes so I'm not sure what the deal was.
SO...2x6.99=13.98-6.99=6.99
THEN each package had $1 off coupons on them so I was able to use both of them.
6.99-2=4.99 for 2 packages of underwear that I was going to buy anyways!
Then for the girls I bought each one a pkg (they had 8 I think)
SOOO..2x8.99=17.98-8.99=8.99
THEN each pkg had $1 off coupons on them so I used them again!
8.99-$2=6.99 for 2 pkgs of underwear!!!
I bought several other things that I thought were a good deal
CopperTone Spray Sunscreen-6.99 w/ $1 RR
They have gum on sale for .99 cents w/ coupon.
Also, 32 oz Gatorade 5 for $5
Check out their School supply sale. I found quite a bit of what my kids needed for cheap.
Happy Shopping!

*Turning 12*
This is one of my favorite pictures of Heather! (Thanks Jessica) It's several years old, but I just love it! Heather turned 12 a couple of weeks ago & this week she was officially welcomed into Young Women's at Church! Her Young Women's President asked me to put together some information to share with everyone. Well I did not know that I would be sharing the information. When Sunshine told me that I told her right then I would get all emotional! UGH!!!
Here's what I shared about Heather:
Name: Heather Breanna
Favorite Scripture: John 3:16
Favorite Breakfast: Egg McMuffin from McDonald’s
Favorite Drink: Dr. Pepper
Favorite Holiday: My Birthday
Favorite Subject in School: Reading
Favorite Thing to do in her free time: Cheer
If you could change your name, what would you choose?: Maci
What are you most excited for in Young Women’s? Girls’ Camp
Things her family loves about her:
Mom~I love that she is not afraid to try new things. She decided to run for 7th grade Student Council this year & she was elected President!
Dad~I love her cakes she makes!
Jed~She keeps us busy!!!
Caroline~Sometimes she lets me sleep with her & sometimes she plays with me!
Grammy says “She’s good with her younger cousins. She’s sweet & of course pretty! And she makes a GREAT shopping buddy!”
Some of her talents include: gymnastics, cooking, being helpful to her parents, being a good friend
except when I read it I read my what I love about her last & of course I got all emotional! UGH!!!

Then I gave her this picture from my cyber friend Jill's blog~Jill takes awesome pictures & I knew when I saw this picture several months ago (when Jill first posted it) I wanted to hang it in Heather's room when she moved into Young Women's. So through all the blubbering tears I said something to the effect of when I saw this picture I knew I wanted to give it to her because I loved how the tulip rose above all the others. I wanted her to remember what Heavenly Father had in store for her and I wanted her to rise above the rest~not to be better than anyone else but to what her Heavenly Father wanted her to be! Thanks Jill for sharing your photography with the rest of us!:)

Raingutter Regatta
One of my Cub Scout partners is so awesome! She planned a Raingutter Regatta for the boys this month. It's kind of like the Pinewood Derby but with boats! I think the boys had an awesome time! Thanks Jennifer!!!

Jed & his boat! He did this ALL by himself! I was very proud of him! He is very talented that way!

Getting started!

Blowing!

Go Jed go!

Jed blowing his boat to the finish line!

Jed picking out his ice cream sundae! She served them outta the rain gutters-in plastic bowls of course!

The boys & their boats!
