Back from the Beach...

We had the best weekend! We have really fallen in love with the beach! There's such a variety of things to do there & it's so nice to get away! We went with some of my friends that I work with & stayed in their uncle's beach house! Wow! we were amazed!

OK Really...

I wished I had something exciting to update with but really I don't~we've just been trucking along trying to get to summer~Only 9 more days left of school & we'll be there. Next weekend we are hitting the beach! We are so excited! And we are going with some friends so that makes it even better! WOO HOO!!!

I did take the kids & some friends last night to glow in the dark golf www.glowminigolf.com we had a great time! Then we came back home and played WII for a little while.

Today we just laid around~we didn't have any softball games & tyson had to work so it was mostly us today! My friends Rachella & Matt came over to show me how to use my new IPOD. I'm excited to get some songs loaded onto it.

so there's our non-exciting life but it's been nice~this next week Heather has a softball game Monday, the school talent show Tuesday night, church on Wednesday & closing ceremonies for softball on Thursday then it will be BEACH TIME!!!!

is it bad that I can completely relate to some of the things that Jeff Foxworthy says? Jed had a loose tooth & tonight was the night. Below is the video of him getting his tooth pulled~AND YES~I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M POSTING THIS WITH THE HORRIBLE SHOT OF MY LAUNDRY (I had nothing to do with this video) Jed wants to send this in to America's Funniest Home Videos! And the WINNER is...

Heather had student council elections on Monday. There were 6 people running for the office of President so I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. It ended up being between Heather & another little boy. They take the person who wins & then the alternate/runner up in case the winner can't fulfill their duties for some reason~so she's like the assistant president. Not really the vice president b/c they have a vice president. The best part is that Heather was so excited & happy just to be on student council. The boy who won was this years vice president. Also, this was Heather's first year at this school, so we were proud with the results!

What snacks do I enjoy? Pretty much anything sweet. I do enjoy strawberries though! & I love doritos!

What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire? I would pay everything off, give some to my church, & then put the rest in the bank!

Student Council Elections

Heather decided she wanted to run for Student Council President for our school. Only 5th graders get to run for president & a couple other offices. There are certain offices that 4th graders get to run for~So tonight I made 2 posters for her campaign.

We started out with a softball/baseball theme, but I thought it would be cute to have 2 different posters, so Tyson & I came up with the 2nd one to entice the non-baseball crowd! haha





and guess what I used to make the posters? YEP~My cricut!!! I think that was the funnest part! Wish us luck on Monday!

Um, yes we are still alive...

It's been super crazy, as always~and I haven't had much time to be on the computer! Tyson & I started back running this week & I am so glad. We only got 2 days in (Monday & Wednesday) because on Friday they were having Relay for Life at the track where we run. I did walk at Relay for like an hour so I didn't feel too guilty about not running! We are hitting it again tomorrow.

Soccer season is over & Jed's team went undefeated! He was so excited. I think Caroline's team lost only one game. They really enjoyed playing!

Heather is still playing softball for a few more weeks. She is enjoying quite a bit & is considering giving up dance for it! We'll see what happens.

I am still in the process of trying to decorate the house~I've got a list about 5 miles long so I don't know if it will ever get finished!

My wheels in my head are turning all the time & I have another list of projects & things I want to do. This is not good!

Only 24 days of school left~Only 3 more Mondays left! I can't wait!
