Purse-Making 101

I swear by the time I die I'll know a little bit about everything. I took a purse making class a few weeks ago at Hancocks simply b/c I wanted to know how to do it. Pathetic I know~Like i don't have anything else to do! So my friend Paula & I made purses that match, they turned out cute! So I started Caroline a tote bag to carry to school, then Tyson's aunt asked me could I make a diaper bag for a baby shower gift. It turned out so cute I'm almost finished with it and when I get through I'll post a pic of it and my purse.

Other News~A friend of mine told me about a dr. in our area that is really good at treating people with ezcema. So I called to make an appointment~she's out of the office until Tuesday so the dr is supposed to give me a call when she gets back. I'm excited if it will work~I'll be ticked if i drop $50 for 2 kids and i waste my $$$.

Camping~we took the kids camping this last weekend. We had a good time except for the heat. I swear Heather & Jed should be fish! They love to swim.

Fun~I got down on my hands and knees yesterday and mopped the whole house it's clean as a whistle now!

Jed, Heather, & Caroline enjoying a summer day! 

School

I registered Heather for school today. She will be a 2nd grader at Dunbar Primary school. I also signed her up for a tennis class through Parks & Rec. It stars next week so we'll see how she likes it. I would like to get Jed into something but Gymnastics is the only option right now and I don't think Tyson is too crazy about that.

My new room at the new school is a WRECK! I'm nervous about not getting it all done although I know I will but I just hate the thought of waiting until the last minute to get it done. The old teacher isn't completely out yet and I haven't signed my contract so I'm not officially hired so there's not too much I can say at this point. But come Monday I'll be hired. She better be out! :) I did make one curtain I need to get some ribbon for the ties then go up there and see if it's gonna work before I make the other 900 curtains! haha two sides where the walls would be are nothing but windows. I"m making black & whie gingham curtains with red bows. Then I found these borders by Frog Street Press

I'm excited I think my room is gonna look super cute! :) Oh yeah This year I'm going to be Mrs. Autumn. 5 year olds could barely say Mrs. McDaniel, I highly doubt 4 year olds can.

Curves

well, i just went to weigh and measure at Curves. I didn't do so hot this last month but I only worked out like maybe 10 times for a whole month. I am going to try to do better this month. I really need to go to bed early and get up early in the morning when Tyson gets home and the kids are still asleep. So I'm going to try to do that~we'll see how it goes.

Itchy Boy

Ugh I was up 1/2 the night with Jed itching. Poor thing he's covered in a red bumpy rash and he kept saying something was tickling him. I have read on the Net that Flax seed is supposed to be good for your skin & that it helps ezcema. So I think I'm going to make some Flax seed cookies and see if he'll eat them. If he doesn't Caroline will so her skin ought to be clear. HAHA

I think I might sew some today too. I bought some fabric awhile back to make Caroline a capri outfit. If I remember right, it's a cute orange outfit. I think I even bought ribbon for a hair bow. I'm working up to a nap mat for Jed. This is what I want to recreate www.kindernation.com click on NapMats and you'll see. Caroline won't need one of those just yet. She just needs a crib sheet. I'm going to buy a couple and have her name monogrammed on them so they'll be cute!

5,6,7,8~

We just finished another year of dance/cheerleading! I love watching my daughter perform and she loves it too. I just wished we could afford to put her in another class. Oh well she likes what she is doing. We are signing up for cheer team again and she wants to do private gymnastic lessons with Ms. Trisha. Ms. Trisha and Mr. Dustin those are Heather's favorite teachers. and Ms. Darlene of course.
