O Christmas Tree

Yesterday after church the kids were ready to put up the Christmas tree so after we fed them a little lunch we pulled all the stuff out and went to it. The kids put the tree up, I fluffed the branches then Tyson put on the lights, THEN we let the kids have free reign on the tree. They put all the ornaments on it and did a great job, so it's officially Christmas time at the McDaniel's house.

UGH PUKE!!!

Jed started throwing up last night around 9pm. He stopped so we went to bed. He woke up a few more times through the night~then Heather started throwing up, so i would get one tucked in bed, the other would wake up & do their thing, then the other would start. ALL.NIGHT.LONG. So guess where I am today with 3 kids. Caroline, thankfully, hasn't thrown up yet. Cross your fingers.

Family Math Night

Tonight was Family Math Night at Heather's School. All the teachers had stations set up with some kind of math activity and sent us home with several different game ideas. Of course we had to stop off at the book fair and spend $20 nevermind that Christmas is coming up. Guess I shouldn't complain about it at least it was books. haha

Tomorrow is Picture Day for Heather & Jed. I hope they smile pretty. Caroline is suppose to have pictures Thursday but I don't know if I'm getting hers~depends on the prices haven't seen them yet.

Tomorrow I have to go to a PTA meeting at my school & I also have a conference with Heather's teacher tomorrow afternoon.

Spelling news: Heather made a 100 on her test today! Yippee.

Second Grade

is going to KILL us. Well not actually second grade just spelling~Heather is NOT a good speller to begin with and now she is having to spell such words as microbats, megabats, echolocation. That was from last week's list. This week has words such as passengers, Veteran's Day (that's the bonus word), shallop. The rest of the words aren't too bad and Heather can spell them pretty good~until she gets to her spelling test tomorrow. We'll see how she does. They also have to do something called spelling clues~for example:

This word is opposite of what humans are & has three syllables. What word am I?

They have to pick from their spelling list. I guess it's nocturnal. Of course she didn't get that one right.

Answer: passengers

Needless to say, spelling isn't our strong point. Wish us luck on our test tomorrow.

Note to Self:

in case one sick kid wasn't enough the other 2 woke up with the same gunk in their eyes as Caroline had the other day. We put eyedrops in them and went back to bed. So everyone is having a sick day today~except Tyson he's out hunting.

YAY!!!

I'm moving up in the world. Two good things about my job~My principal came in the other day and asked would it be ok if a college student came in to observe on Thursday. And I just found out she is putting me on the curriculm writing team for my campus. YAY!! 2 compliments in one week. I'm excited.

Sick Baby

Well I'm home today b/c Caroline is sick. I took her to the doctor yesterday afternoon b/c her eyes were doing the same thing they did when she had celluitis and was hospitalized. The doctor sent us home with 3 prescriptions. She ran fever all night, of course when we were at the dr's office it went down to 99.9 and when her school called me it was 101.9. It ran 103.9 last night before Tyson went to work. She is still asleep this morning~Poor Baby!

Tyson brought home a triple chocolate cake~and it was yummy!

I'm BACCCCKKKKK!!!

Ok i think my sister is the only one who reads this stupid thing so i'm going to update it just for her. Maybe I can come up with something to write.

We were busy today~Heather's class participated in the local TRASH OFF~they had 41 people participating so they won the grand prize of $300. YAY TEAM!!!

We went to eat at the Outback for supper tonight for my birthday since I'll be the big 32 tomorrow. Then we took the kids to see CHICKEN LITTLE! OH SNAP! cute movie.
